A rare handmade natural fire opal classic pendant necklace made with a glowing 8x6mm blue base semi translucent fire Opal gemstone in a smooth even cabochon cut of rare AAA+/AAAA quality grade set into a 925 sterling silver prong setting with a delicate chain featuring an extension chain with a small opal bead at its end.

🔹 Finish: a basic pendant is made with just polished bright 925 sterling silver - an upgraded version of sterling silver settings has white gold/rhodium plating layer that prevents tarnish and looks lustrous and shiny with minimum care. This depends upon the availability which may change from time to time. If you have a preference, please let me know by adding a note to your order.

14k yellow and rose gold plated over sterling silver finishes are also available. White gold plating is often used for sterling silver settings without a specific request or mentioning in the description as the “default” version of sterling silver setting and a preferred one.
White, yellow or rose gold filled finish is a paid variation for 925 sterling silver jewelry settings, and is often referred to as “vermeil “ - this is always mentioned in the item description as a difference in material and holds higher value.

🔹 Chain style and length: default chain is 16” delicate cable/box/curb chain with a 2” extension which may be an adjustable upgraded version or a fixed length chain. 🔴 To make sure I have sufficient time to fulfill each order according to your personal preferences THE MAXIMUM PROCESSING TIME IS SET FOR 1-4 WEEKS to ensure that the item meets your expectations.

🔴 This time is required to make each individual piece especially for you according to your preferences such as specific size, style and finish of silver settings for cleaning and polishing the silver, setting the stones in a specific setting etc., There are no pre-manufactured items available which can be just put in a box and shipped. EACH PIECE IS MADE ONLY TO ORDER. Even if they appear finished- none of the stones is set in a setting PERMANENTLY.

✔️The only materials used in creating my jewelry are genuine high quality Ethiopian Welo Fire Opals of at least AAA quality grade or higher and 100% genuine solid precious metals as 925 Sterling silver, 10K and 14K yellow, rose or white gold. White gold might not be available for pendant necklaces.

✔️I also started to use different gemstones to create my birthstone jewelry line, so ANY ITEM MADE WITH OPAL CAN BE ALSO MADE WITH A DIFFERENT GEMSTONE despite not being listed as an option.
✔️All of the fire opal gemstones are 100% NATURAL, EARTH MINED, UNTREATED AND SOLID. I do not use doubles/triplets opals, artificially enhanced or synthetic man made gemstones.
✔️Some settings, which are gold filled or plated are filled OVER STERLING SILVER, which becomes the base metal in this case.
The same applies to all of the rhodium plated settings ( rhodium is a silver colored precious metal widely used in jewelry manufacturing)
✔️AUTHENTICITY OF THE OPALS SILVER OR GOLD IS GUARANTEED. All materials are 100% SAFE, GENUINE and HYPOALLERGENIC.

🔴 It is NORMAL for Ethiopian Welo Opal to change their appearance depending on the light angle and the outside environment. The fire in an Opal results from the reflections of light as it travels through it, so the brighter the light around you the more your opal will shine.
Ironically when it comes to capturing that fantastic glow on camera the brightest opals look overexposed and show only white color. To be able to show you the real play of color of each opal I have to manipulate the lightning to create the most optimal environment for capturing the beauty of each opal. Please keep in mind that variations between the images and the actual item are inevitable because of the opal's very nature. Your item will look different from the listing photos, but the quality grade, color theme, fire pattern and the intensity of the play of color will always be within the same range and category as the opal you see in the listing images.
