🔶 I try to do my best to ship my orders as soon as possible ( usually within a few days), but unfortunately I have certain physical health limitations, which sometimes prevent me from being able to work, so the MAXIMUM processing time is set for 2 weeks just in case I have to take a short break.....Occasionally I also need to reorder supplies, so this also might play a role.

✅MATERIAL:

🔶 I use only high quality 100% NATURAL earth mined SOLID Ethiopian Welo opals to create my jewelry.

🔴 I NEVER use doubles/triplets opals, artificially enhanced, or synthetically colored man made gemstones.

🔶 The metal of choice for me is 925 sterling silver, but I also use solid 14K gold for custom made pieces as well as gold filled sterling silver settings. Unlike gold plated finish gold filled silver (or vermeil ) never loses its gold layer, since it is joined to the silver by the strongest molecular bond. Gold filled finish has become a popular affordable alternative to solid gold in jewelry industry and is impossible to tell apart from the solid 14K gold.

🔶 I prefer to use rhodium plated silver for my ring settings as it provides superior protection against tarnish and preserves the polished new look of the silver. Rhodium is a precious metal, which looks similar to white Gold and is sometimes used interchangeably.

✅ OPAL BUYING TIPS:

🔶 Each Opal is very unique and special. Just like you are. That’s why we love them.

🔶 Please keep this in mind when you are looking through the available items, because the item you will receive WILL definitely look different from the listing photos, which is ABSOLUTELY NORMAL.
Even if the two opals have the same quality and brightness - they still will offer their own unique way of interacting with the light, which is what defines the Opal and gives it its "personality". Most listings contain photos of a few very similar opals unless indicated otherwise.

🔶 This is why it is much easier to see the true nature of any Opal by viewing a video clip - not just seeing still images, so please visit my extensive video gallery, which contains live videos of the available jewelry, so you can see the play of color in real life - this is the best way to make your experience smooth when you are buying opals, because as true chameleons they change their appearance significantly depending on the lighting environment, angle, movement and everything around it.

🔶 What we call the “fire” in an opal is actually a refracted light, which goes through its complex inner structure to produce that unique dance of light and color - in some ways an opal functions as a funky kind of mirror and reflects what appears in its view by turning the reality into a burst of vibrant color.
The brighter the light around an opal the more it will be able to reflect back at you and it will always be changing and sparkling following every subtle movement. To capture this living and swirling motion on a still photo is impossible, so in order to show you the real play of color in every opal I have to manipulate the lighting and create the most optimal environment for showing its best potential. Please keep in mind that variations between the listing images and the actual item are inevitable because of the opal's very nature.

🔶 Since I’m working with natural gemstone, which is cut by hand and not by machine some stones might have slight irregularities in their shape, which are not noticeably affecting the overall quality of the item. Some very small inclusions or tiny imperfections are also sometimes present within a natural opal, but they are so small, that they are not visible with the naked eye. I do not use stones with visible defects to make my jewelry - this can occur only due to a mistake on my behalf., which I will be happy to correct as soon as you bring it to my attention.

🔶 Please DO NOT REMOVE THE SIGNATURE TAG from your item until you are certain that you are going to keep it and it meets your expectations. I accept returns but the jewelry should be unworn, which is indicated by the tag still being attached to the item. Earrings are not eligible for return due to hygienic reasons, but if it’s my fault that you are unhappy I will take them back of course.
