Unique black opal necklace made with a natural fire opal cabochon cut gemstone set into a bezel setting with a lotus lariat design made with 925 sterling silver with 14k yellow gold finish over and a pretty extension chain that has a matching opal bead attached to its end - a finalizing detail that makes the necklace look so pretty in the jewelry box!

Since AAA is the standard quality grade FOR THIS PARTICULAR SHOP, I use the AAAA grade to indicate the really exceptional stones that are unique and extremely bright with intense fire

▪️ Metal: 925 sterling silver or 14k rose or yellow gold vermeil (gold filled over 925 sterling silver) finish;

▪️Setting: “wrap tite” style bezel setting in 925 sterling silver or 14k gold finish over;

▪️Chain: 925 sterling silver delicate cable chain with rhodium plated finish or 14K gold filled vermeil chain in a matching selected gold color;

▪️Extension chain - 2” - added to every opal necklace that I make featuring a small opal bead at the end. This feature is intended for gift items that look particularly appealing when arranged properly in a jewelry box with an extension chain placed on the right side of the necklace;

🟪PROCESSING AND SHIPPING:

▪️ Maximum processing time is set for 4 weeks, but USUALLY it takes me up to 2 weeks to fulfill an order that is not urgent or does not require re-ordering of materials such as solid gold items do;

▪️My default shipping method is Priority Mail by USPS, and it takes anywhere from 1-4 days on average to be delivered to you after I take it to the post office or it gets picked up from my house;

▪️During MAJOR HOLIDAYS such as Christmas processing time is reduced to JUST A FEW DAYS as well as during the month of OCTOBER when the processing time is THE SHORTEST due to most orders being gifts 🎁.

▪️I accept URGENT orders with strict deadlines, but you have to notify me of your time in the personalization section - if I can’t make the deadline, I will refund you after I receive the order, so you do not risk anything;

▪️ If your order has no time restrictions, it is advisable to allow me to use the time I need to make your jewelry, because handcrafted jewelry that is made from scratch and only to order has better quality of craftsmanship when more time and effort is put into making it;

🟪MATERIALS AND QUALITY STANDARD:

▪️I use only high quality precious metals and natural gemstones in creating my jewelry. The quality standard for this shop is set to be especially high.
I use my best quality stones for creating items offered at this shop, so each and every item is not only made to order but is typically made with perfect or nearly perfect gemstones, with excellent time consuming level of craftsmanship seen in every detail;

▪️I do not use stock photos for a reason: I design everything myself, and take my own photos of the items upon completion of the item so you can be sure that the jewelry sold through this store is going to look exactly as pictured with the exception of gemstones, which are unique and never look the same.
I did my fair share of online shopping to understand how rare it is to find a real quality jewelry - if you think that a cheaper price will bring you the same or almost the same item, you are making a mistake especially when it comes to certain countries and many Etsy sellers who drop ship mass produced goods and pass them for “handcrafted” items. I put as much time into creating each “made to order” piece as is necessary to bring it to achievable perfection.

▪️It came to my attention that my photos are being used by other sellers on Etsy and eBay offering the same items for a quarter of the price.
Well… They cannot make the items they show, because it is not their product…
It is mighty hard to get your money back from the country with unreliable postal services, because you cannot return what you bought, and the scammers count exactly on this factor to deny you refund, so you will never see your money again.
It happened to me multiple times, and I hope that you are going to be smarter than that to trust anyone who steals photos from another seller.

🟪NATURAL OPAL PHOTOGRAPHY ISSUES - A MUST READ ARTICLE FOR ALL:

▪️As much as they are beautiful natural opals are extremely difficult to represent objectively on photos and sometimes on video as well. This can result in a potential dissatisfaction on behalf of a customer because they might have different expectations from their purchase, because opals are such tricky chameleons.

▪️Please keep this in mind when you are looking through the available items, that colors of the opal are constantly changing depending on the light angle, intensity and other factors, and the item you purchased WILL definitely look different from the listing photos, which is ABSOLUTELY NORMAL. Even if the two opals have the same quality and brightness - they still will offer their own unique way of interacting with the light, which is what defines the Opal and gives it its “personality”.
Most listings contain photos of a few very similar opals unless indicated otherwise. You will receive an opal that looks very very close to the ones pictured in the listing photos. The selection is made with a lot of attention to a variety of features and characteristics that are seen in a certain price category, and the stone I select will have the same value as the stone depicted in the listing photos. No opal is picked randomly without scrutiny and thorough comparison.

▪️Black opals are PREDOMINATELY DARK gemstones and won’t appear as bright as the listing photos due to their dark overall base tone, which makes the play of color appear and “come to life” ONLY during movement as the stone interacts with different light sources at different angles - without the light you will not be able to see any fire. This is NORMAL for the black opals, and is not a sign of lower value or inferior quality.
This interaction with the light source produces a specific “picture” that is being seen on a still image, but it will continue to change as the light around the opal changes, so it is IMPOSSIBLE to show what a fire opal actually looks like, because it is a CONTINUING PROCESS and not any particular set of colors on a background. This process is responding to the INTENSITY OF LIGHT, and photos are ALWAYS TAKEN UNDER DIRECT LIGHT SOURCE. This particular aspect of opal photography causes A LOT OF CONFUSION AND DISAPPOINTMENT coming from those who are UNPREPARED TO SEE THE SAME OPAL LOOK DIFFERENT UNDER LOWER LIGHTING CONDITIONS. When seen under different light or at a different angle - the opal WILL LOOK ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT FROM ITS OWN PHOTO, so please read as much information about this issue as you can find to avoid being disappointed with your purchase.

▪️Any natural opal will look much brighter under artificial light and much duller under the natural light. That’s how you can tell that it is indeed a natural opal.
Opal is always changing its colors and never shows the exact same combination of colors with the same level of brightness, so expecting it to look like ANY PHOTO is simply unrealistic.
When an opal is seen in motion it looks entirely different almost every second following any minute changes in the angle of light or

It is a monumental task to capture the actual beauty of the best quality grade white opal objectively.
You should remember this phenomenon when shopping for white opal jewelry particularly if it is a very high quality opal with white base - it reflects everything back and into the lens.
