Oval natural diamond paved halo 14k solid rose gold black opal ring made with a 9x7mm rare AAAA quality grade natural black fire opal with exceptional fire throughout.
The ring can be ordered as an engagement ring in solitaire or you can order any matching wedding band paved with natural diamonds as the ring band.

The opal used to,make one of my engagement rings is always of the highest quality grade and has a range of colors that is impressive and the play of color is visible from nearly all angles, which is important for the natural opal since the fire is dependent upon the angle of light.

This is a more modern style of the engagement ring and can be ordered as a solitaire ring or if combined with a solid gold matching band you can enjoy a bridal set made with the excellent quality ring setting all paved with natural diamonds (do not fall out).
The quality of gold is great and has been tested multiple times to always show the highest grade compared with other manufacturers.

There are a few types of bands available and include Art Deco style in full eternity (paved around the ring circumference) or half eternity more delicate type of Art Deco band available in solid 14knand 10k gold in any color,

There is also a straight delicate half eternity paved band available which is specifically designed to go with this particular ring style also made for different size of the halo:8x6mm, 7x5mm or round 6mm. Essentially I use the same design but the center stone is different and has a round, cushion or oval shape diamond paved halo element.

▪️I work alone, and I have a chronic illness (stress-induced chronic fatigue) limiting my ability to work, so I HAVE TO take breaks between working periods to recover and get back to my store after a few days up to one week....This has been my schedule for the past few years, and because of this I cannot keep my shop running as well as I would like it to.

🟪DELAYS CAUSED BY USPS, INACCURACIES WITH TRACKING INFORMATION AND INACCURATE ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE:

▪️SHIPPING DELAYS WITH USPS HAVE BECOME “NORMAL”:

- due to COVID 19 and the length of delay is unpredictable ranging anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks for First Class Mail and up to 1 week for Priority Mail.
- due to ALL major holidays;
- due to the internal USPS issues with lack of funding and not enough staff

▪️ It has come to my attention that the TRACKING INFORMATION gets updated with a DELAY OF MINIMUM 2 DAYS TO 1 WEEK before it synchronizes with Etsy, and during this time packages appear to be in “Pre-Shipment” stage showing that I never took them to the post office at all, despite me watching those specific packages get accepted by scanning the barcode right in front of me a couple of days before.....
This problem has been happening for more than a year by now, and it caused me tremendous amount of negative feedback and complaints from customers during holidays, because they were assuming that I didn’t ship their orders according to the available tracking information....
Please allow a few days at least for the tracking information to sync.

▪️Also, the ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE provided by Etsy in the same email notification that contains the tracking information for your order, is HIGHLY INACCURATE. It doesn’t take into account important outside factors such as COVID 19 delays or major holidays causing the USPS to become overwhelmed due to the increased volume of mail and have very unpredictable and significant delays.
The Estimated date is calculated based on standard shipping times and only misleads the customers, who expect their packages to be delivered on that date, which is absolutely unrealistic and this leads customers to presume that I failed to ship their orders on time due to having poor customer service standard if it takes place during any holiday rush shipping;
PLEASE DISREGARD THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE PROVIDED TO YOU WITH TRACKING INFORMATION - there is no reason why this date is even provided - please ignore it completely.
This has caused me so much headache and bad reviews, that I no longer want to hear about anything regarding this date, and unfortunately I don’t have any time to address this with Etsy.....

▪️During regular time without holiday shopping pressure I often print out the labels in advance, and ship orders over time during the next several weeks, so that estimated delivery date is going to be way off, and I am used to simply ignoring it. But during the times of pandemic or when time is a factor people tend to pay attention to THAT date, and it is generated automatically after shipping label is printed, and literally means nothing in terms of being realistic in any situation when shipping delays are possible.

▪️GENERALLY, AS LONG AS THE PACKAGE IS SHIPPED BEFORE THE END OF WEEK 4 OF MY PROCESSING TIME ,AND IN THE ABSENCE OF ANY TIME SENSITIVE INSTRUCTIONS, IT IS CONSIDERED TO BE SHIPPED “ON TIME” - according to my overall processing time.
This is the most extreme example, but it is a fact.

▪️Opal is very unique and colorful gemstone like no other. EVERY OPAL IS CHANGING COLORS CONTINUOUSLY IN RESPONSE TO THE LIGHT ANGLE OR INTENSITY.
This makes photographing them extremely difficult, so YOU MUST READ THIS to learn some typical properties of this gem and KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR OPAL JEWELRY AND HOW TO BEST CARE FOR IT.

▪️As much as they are beautiful natural opals are extremely difficult to represent objectively on photos and sometimes on video as well. This can result in a potential dissatisfaction on behalf of a customer because they might have different expectations from their purchase, because opals are such tricky chameleons.

▪️Please keep this in mind when you are looking through the available items, because the item you will receive WILL definitely look different from the listing photos, which is ABSOLUTELY NORMAL. Even if the two opals have the same quality and brightness - they still will offer their own unique way of interacting with the light, which is what defines the Opal and gives it its "personality". Most listings contain photos of a few very similar opals unless indicated otherwise. You will receive an opal that looks very very close to the ones pictured in the listing photos.

▪️Black opals are PREDOMINATELY DARK gemstones and wont appear as bright as the listing photos due to their dark overall base tone, but the play of color will come to life during movement as the stone interacts with different lighting settings and you can see it from various angles. To see the best play of color in your opal please take it to direct light source such as a table lamp and enjoy the transformation.
Black opal will look much brighter under strong light and much duller under natural light. Opal is always changing and never shows the same colors with the same level of brightness - it is always in motion and looks entirely different every second.
Red colored fire will not turn a black opal into a garnet - it is a BLACK opal, so please be prepared that the beauty of this gemstone is going to be SUBTLE but quite fascinating in its own very unique way.

▪️ Since I’m working with natural gemstones, which are cut by hand and not by machine , so some stones might have slight irregularities in their shape, which are not noticeably affecting the overall appearance of the jewelry. Some very small inclusions or tiny imperfections are also sometimes present within a natural opal, but they are so small, that they are not visible with the naked eye. Occasionally there might be a tiny scratch that is visible only under magnifying glass or a tiny spot on the side of the stone and I would allow it to be, because of the opal’s overall beauty and rare amazing play of color. Singularly beautiful opals might have tiny imperfections, but their beauty makes up for that, so a tiny spot becomes really insignificant when you look at the whole picture and evaluate the stone itself.
I do not use stones with very apparent defects or marks - this either will be mentioned in the description or it can occur due to a mistake or omission, which I will be happy to correct as soon as you bring it to my attention.

The main materials used in my jewelry are Ethiopian Welo opals of high quality grade (usually AAA), which are selected for each stone’s unique brilliance and coloring that correspond to the higher market value and offer an objectively better choice for a buyer compared to many other opal jewelry designers that opt for average quality opals to maintain the lower price advantage. I also use high quality moissanite which is a sustainable alternative to natural diamond and is the future of engagement and wedding jewelry. I VERIFY AUTHENTICITY of all the materials that I use for making my jewelry including testing precious metals to confirm the purity of 14k gold or solid 925 sterling silver. Processing and Shipping

Average processing time is 1-2 weeks. Some exceptions include solid gold items needing to be reordered which adds a week, some unexpected delays with shipping etc.,
Each item is made only to order - there are no premanufactured pieces, which I can drop in a mailbox the same day -I put as much time, effort and care into creating each made to order piece of jewelry as is necessary to bring it to the achievable perfection, which you deserve.
I accept URGENT ORDERS for certain items that can be made very quickly, but you have to get a confirmation from me to make sure that I am able to fulfill your order by the required deadline.
Default shipping method is USPS Priority Mail with an option to upgrade to express.

Natural opal Photo Disclaimer

Any natural opal is constantly changing its play of color and its entire appearance in response to the changes in its environment particularly shifts in the light angle, its intensity and brightness as well as the light source (natural light causes significant attenuation in opal’s color, while artificial light brings out the most of the hidden beauty within an opal). This is a natural property of this gemstone, and it is expected that the same opal will look completely different from the listing images if the surrounding light is different from the exact moment when the original photos were taken. Opal is a true chameleon and its we love it for this particular quality, but it can be misleading to a new opal owner. Please keep this in mind.

Care Instructions

Natural opal requires extreme caution when using liquids, because it can absorb any liquid substance and it might cause permanent damage to the gemstone.
Keep your opal jewelry in a clean dark space, preferably in an air tight container when you are not wearing it.
Do not wear it to do manual work, play sports, swim, wash hands, exercise vigorously or when sweating. Take it off before showering, sleeping or doing anything strenuous.
Keep your opal jewelry away from sudden changes in temperature or from severe cold or hot weather.
Do not wash, submerge in liquid, clean using liquid jewelry or ultrasonic cleaners.
Most importantly: protect your opals from moisture at any cost, because this is the #1 contributing factor to opal jewelry damag

Ethiopian Opal Coloring

All opals I sell are exclusively Ethiopian Welo opals that are earth-mined, natural, solid and are free of invasive treatments that could significantly alter their appearance or reduce market value. I NEVER use doublets/triplets opals, artificially enhanced, lab created, or man made opals.
However, it is well known that Ethiopian opal does not occur in black variety, so it has to be understood at all times that heat application is needed to change the base tone to the dark black color while leaving the other properties and color appearance of an opal intact and not affected by heat. A heat treated gemstone is still considered NATURAL, and almost all colored gems are heat treated without any effect on their value or popularity.

What is NOT eligible for a refund:

Any instances of “buyer remorse” when there is nothing is wrong with the item, but a buyer may have changed their mind or when the item does not meet expectations of a buyer despite being made according to the description and having no other reason for return.
Cases when a gift was not favorably received by someone who it was purchased for that has no actual defect or notable differences from the listing description and images.
Items damaged while being in buyer’s possession due to any accident or loss of a gemstone that occurred during regular wear.
When items are damaged due to not following care instructions which are provided with every order in a printed format.
Loss of item or any damage that occurred while in buyer’s possession.
